VMS E1 Problem

Today, two E1 of my Media Application Server (MAS) for Voice Mail System (VMS) were going down. Fortunately, I was checking my server when the E1 was done.

When I was check my all MAS (JKT MAS 1, 2, 3 & 4), one E1 on MAS 1 and one E1 on MAS 3 were blocked so that the voice trunk between MAS & MSC couldn’t established.

Here was the result

[root@jkt-mas-003 root]# ss7ctl

Hufh, I have to unblock it by my self.
I just use this command to unblock the E1

[root@jkt-mas-003 root]# ss7ctl unblock 0x0003

Horray, the E1 is up and I didn’t have to go to server room 🙂

[root@jkt-mas-003 root]# ss7ctl
